Regular training
Playback Theater School
Playback Theater Classes
The aim of our regular classes is to train students in all the roles necessary to perform Playback Theater shows and workshops of the highest possible quality: acting, conducting, directing, and leadership.
Ultimately, we want them to develop the ability to carry out their own Playback Theater projects.

Conditions
Our regular training consists of a weekly two-and-a-half-hour class from September to June, both inclusive.
It also includes participation in around six performances open to the public per year, as we believe that true learning comes from practice.
Training Itinerary
We have a four-course training itinerary:
- First: introduction to Playback Theater and training in the role of acting.
- Second: training in the role of acting and introduction to conducting.
- Third: training in the role of acting, conducting, and introduction to directing.
- Fourth: training in the role of acting, conducting, and directing.
Development of end-of-studies project.

Final Project
The fourth year is optionally accompanied by parallel training in project management and leadership.
This training culminates in the creation of a personal Playback Theater project: line of research, company, application of the tool to a context, etc.
The objective of this project should be to further the implementation of Playback Theater in Galicia or elsewhere.
Passing this project leads to a certificate of suitability endorsed by Teatro Playback Galicia, qualifying the student as a Playback Theater trainer.
Is previous theater experience necessary?
No. Anyone of legal age in a physical or mental condition that does not prevent them from carrying out the activity is welcome.
Is it mandatory to progress in the training itinerary?
No. Progress through the roles until reaching the final project takes a minimum of four years, but it can be extended as long as the student wishes or needs.
It is possible to spend more years studying and not progress through the roles until the student feels ready.
Where and when does the course take place?
In Rúa Esperanto, Vigo, on Mondays (beginner group) and Wednesdays (advanced group) from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. We hope to open other groups soon at other times and locations.
How much does the course cost?
€45 per month per student. You can pay by Bizum to 626 24 12 38 or in cash.
I don’t live in Vigo and would like there to be training courses in my town
If you think we can set up a group in another town, we can assess the cost of traveling to a teacher in order to expand the project. Please contact us if you think you can help us set up groups outside Vigo.
