Why a goal of €20,000?

That is the amount of money we estimate is necessary to carry out a solid outreach campaign and cover the structural costs that will allow us to guarantee the long-term sustainability of the project through training and performances.

These funds will be invested primarily in the production of videos and other educational materials that will be made publicly available on the Internet in three languages: Galician, Spanish and English. In this sense, in addition to helping us achieve our goal of promoting Playback Theater in Galicia, we will be serving the international Playback Theater community.

We understand that one of the main obstacles facing Playback Theater is that, without attending a performance, it is difficult to fully understand what it is and its benefits. This becomes a challenge when it comes to reaching a wider audience, training more students, and ensuring that companies, cultural programmers, and social program managers understand what they are hiring and why they should do so.

If we manage to effectively spread the word about the benefits of Playback and this allows us to build a solid structure of audience, programmers, and beneficiaries around Teatro Playback Galicia and Playback Theater in general, we will be able to offer this tool to many more people for their benefit.

As we carry out this task, we are documenting the entire process so that, if successful, other Playback groups around the world can replicate this model, multiplying the educational resources available online, the audience, and the reach of Playback Theater to its beneficiaries around the world.

For all these reasons, we appreciate every small donation. The effort in the form of many small financial contributions from individuals and organizations can have a significant impact on the future of many human communities.

What if the goal is not met?

That’s okay. Every small donation will be useful.

We receive every small donation and will invest it successively as the production of each educational and informative content becomes viable. We will progress gradually, and even if we never reach the desired amount, we will continue to contribute with successive steps towards the realization of our mission.
